Purdys Chocolatier is seeking an Assistant Manager for the Bayshore Shopping Centre location in Ottawa. You will support the Shop Manager, help drive sales, and lead retail staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

The role is permanent full-time with open availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Bring your leadership skills and passion for chocolate to a fun, fast-paced team that values diversity and growth.

Qualifications

• At least two years of management/supervisory experience in a fast-paced retail/hospitality environment.

Job Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our team in Bayshore Shopping Centre.The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Shop Manager in achieving overall profitability, smooth operation of the shop as well as providing leadership and effective management to the retail staff.

This position is an excellent opportunity to build on your career in retail while selling our award-winning chocolate products and premium ice cream. Your success will come from your ability to engage with customers, drive sales, and work in a team environment.

This is a permanent fulltime position that requires open availability for all types of shifts (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays).
