Job summary

MBI Brands is seeking a Payroll Specialist to deliver full-cycle payroll for corporate stores and the Support Centre using ADP Workforce Now or a similar platform.

You will ensure accuracy, compliance with federal/provincial regulations, maintain HRIS data, and generate payroll reports to support a positive employee experience. This role requires attention to detail and collaboration with HR and operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years payroll experience with ADP Workforce Now
• Knowledge of Canadian provincial employment standards
• Strong communication and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily payroll activities.
• Process full-cycle payroll for hourly and salaried employees using ADP or similar platform.
• Review and validate payroll data including hours, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
• Perform manual payroll calculations, adjustments, retro pay, and off-cycle payments.
• Ensure compliance with federal/provincial regulations and company policies.
• Prepare and reconcile payroll reports, ROEs, and year-end documents like T4s.
