Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart is seeking a team member to manage customer service functions, cash handling, and merchandising in a locally owned store. The role focuses on supporting associates, ensuring store policies are followed, and maintaining a positive customer experience.

The position involves assisting with cash operations, training staff, and upholding loss prevention practices while delivering friendly service to the community.

Responsibilities

• Ensures cashier/merchandising staff comply with store policies and operating procedures
• Trains cashiers/merchandisers in job functions
• Provides on-going guidance and instruction
• Ensures loss prevention standards are implemented and manages daily cash office inventory
• Answers inquiries regarding location of product, rainchecks, etc.
• Resolves customer issues according to established guidelines (refunds, exchanges)
• Ensures shelves are clean and organized with proper rotation
• Ensures product displays are set up and taken down as directed by AFSM/FSM
• Maintains housekeeping and store image
• Complies with health and safety requirements
• May perform clerical and banking duties
• Performs cashier duties when necessary
