Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart in Winnipeg is seeking a customer-focused associate to support cash handling, cashier duties and merchandising on the shop floor. You will help customers locate products, process transactions and maintain store appearance.

You will also assist with refunds or exchanges, train new cashiers, follow health and safety rules and contribute to a positive shopping experience in a locally owned but nationally backed store network.

Responsibilities

• Manage cash, cashiers and merchandising functions.
• Ensure staff comply with store policies and procedures.
• Train cashiers/merchandisers in job functions and provide guidance.
• Maintain housekeeping and store image; comply with health and safety.
• Handle customer inquiries, refunds and exchanges according to guidelines.
• Assist with loss prevention and general duties including banking when needed.
