Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart in Canada is hiring a store associate to help deliver health, beauty and convenience services in your community. You will support cashier/merchandising staff and ensure store standards while keeping customers at the center of everything you do.

Responsibilities

• Ensures cashier/merchandising staff comply with store policies and procedures.
• Trains cashiers/merchandisers in job functions.
• Provides ongoing guidance and instruction.
• Ensures loss prevention standards are implemented and manages cash office inventory.
• Maintains proper cash tracking and PC Optimum procedures.
• Ensures store employees present a proper image and handles customer inquiries.
• Resolves refunds, exchanges and other customer issues.
• Maintains shelves, displays and housekeeping standards.
• Performs clerical and banking duties and supports the store as needed.
