Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years work experience in front desk or guest services; at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Opera and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and tact.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Summary:

The Front Office Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the frontdesk department, ensuring exceptional guest service, efficientcheck-in/check-out process, and effective resolution of guest concerns. Theideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strongleadership ability, and a passion for delivering outstanding hospitalityexperiences.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervisethe daily operations of the front desk team, including scheduling, training,coaching, and performance support of Front Desk Agents.
  • Ensureall guests receive a professional, welcoming, and efficient check-in andcheck-out experience in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Respondpromptly and professionally to guest inquiries, concerns, complaints, andspecial requests to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Motivate,mentor, and support front office staff in delivering exceptional customerservice and maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Monitorfront desk operations to ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, andservice standards.
  • Identifyopportunities to improve operational efficiency, workflow, and overall guestexperience.
  • Serveas the primary liaison between guests and various hotel departments to ensureguest needs and expectations are met.
  • Coordinatewith housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to address guest requestsand operational requirements in a timely manner.
  • Handleescalated guest concerns, emergencies, and difficult situations withprofessionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
  • Maintainaccurate records of guest interactions, financial transactions, incidents, andoperational activities, and prepare required reports for management.
  • Assistwith cash handling, balancing reports, and ensuring accuracy of billing andpayment transactions.
  • Supportmanagement in implementing hotel initiatives, policies, and operationalprocedures.
  • Ensurethe front desk area is clean, organized, and maintained in a professionalmanner at all times.
  • Participatein staff meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations as required.
  • Performother related duties as assigned by management to support hotel operations andguest satisfaction.
