Responsibilities:
  1. Perform customer service and cashier functions.
  2. Oversee the efficient operation of the cash office (including pick-ups, deposits, cash losses, scheduling, etc.).
  3. Analyze reports to identify issues and determine solutions (productivity reports, override reports, journal logs, cash tray discrepancies).
  4. Ensure price integrity by managing time file data, price changes, and scan log procedures.
  5. Handle store administration functions (weekly accounting, invoice payments & reconciliation, bank statements, GL inquiries).
  6. Process payroll accurately and timely, including onboarding new staff.
  7. Maintain and manage benefit and pension administration.
  8. Manage potential loss through buggy management, test orders, refund/override minimization, etc.
  9. Coordinate daily cashier activities; serve as a resource; escalate complex issues; contribute to performance management.
  10. Perform other duties to ensure courteous service, competitive pricing, and store hygiene (housekeeping and daily upkeep).
Requirements:
  1. Open availability and flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  2. Demonstrated commitment to superior customer service.
  3. Strong technical knowledge of all front-end operations.
  4. Prior experience in front-end / bookkeeping.
  5. Problem-solving skills, including responding to customer complaints and inquiries.
  6. Issue management skills (time management, interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, information gathering, problem solving, team building).
  7. Strong communication skills (verbal, written, active listening).
