Job summary

Forsite is seeking Forest Technicians for field-based work in the 100 Mile House, BC area. The role focuses on forest development activities, including reconnaissance road and block engineering, ecological and riparian assessments, and preparing associated plans and packages.

The position offers a full-time, permanent role with potential for out-of-town and camp assignments. Applicants should have forestry knowledge and a strong willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education with a diploma or degree in a relevant discipline, or 3 years of related field experience.
• Broad understanding of general forestry practices.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Enthusiastic and passionate about forestry and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Able to work both independently under limited supervision as well as in a dynamic team environment.
