Position Overview

Under the general direction of the Food Services Manager or Area Supervisor, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital, the Food Production Attention is responsible for assembling specified recipes and/or assisting the Cooks with the preparation of foods as specified by the menu; and performing other related duties as assigned.

Experience

• Six (6) months food service preparation experience.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

• Grade 10.

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Manual skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk/stand throughout the shift.

This term position may end earlier as outlined in your collective agreement. This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.
