Job summary

Blue Mountain Resort Company is hiring for seasonal, part-time food and beverage roles at Ontario’s largest mountain resort. You will enter meals in the POS, scoop ice cream in summer, clear and sanitize areas, and help with cafeteria service.

Training is provided, and eligibility requires high school completion and Smart Serve certification (you must be 18+ to be certified). Enjoy staff perks including access to Blue Mountain attractions, meal discounts, and exclusive retail deals.

Qualifications

• Basic working knowledge of food and beverage.
• Basic Food Safety knowledge.
• Strong basic math ability to count accurately.
• 18 years of age minimum for certification.

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter meal selections into POS and process payment.
• Scoop ice cream into cones or cups (summer only).
• Clear guest trays and debris from tables; sanitize surfaces.
• Change garbage, recycling and compost bins.
• Assist in serving food in staff cafeteria; handle setup and cleanup.
• Deliver cookie orders to hotel rooms and process payments when scheduled.

SEASONAL-PART TIME WAGE-$18.31 2 to 3 shifts per week

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

• Accurately enter meal selections into POS and process payment.
• Scoop ice cream into cones or cups (summer only)
• Clear Guest’s trays and debris form table; sanitize tables, chairs (all surfaces)
• Change garbage, recycle and compost bins
• Helping serve food in the staff cafeteria, excepting payments for food, setting up and cleaning up
• When scheduled in Death Cookie; deliver cookie orders to hotel rooms across the resort by foot, process debit/credit payments at the room with the guest, take cookie orders over the phone

WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM ME?

• Some completion of High School
• To clear tables and ring in alcohol purchases, candidate must have Smart Serve certification.
• We will provide training, but you must be 18 years of age to be certified.
