Blue Mountain Resort in Ontario is seeking seasonal grounds maintenance staff to keep the resort grounds pristine, perform landscaping, and manage waste. The role includes early shifts and outdoor work, with opportunities to enjoy the resort amenities.

You will perform snow removal, ice melt applications, hazard assessment, and basic equipment maintenance. A valid G license is an asset; high school education is preferred; the role requires physical fitness for heavy lifting and repetitive tasks.

Qualifikationen

• Must be physically fit; able to lift and perform repetitive tasks.
• Experience with snow removal is an asset.
• Valid Class G Driver’s License is an asset.

• Maintain resort grounds to the highest standards (general maintenance, landscaping, waste management).
• Perform snow removal on Blue Mountain Resort property and affiliated properties.
• Remove snow with shovels or snow blowers; apply ice melt or sand as required.
• Conduct ice patrols and assess hazards to ensure guest and employee safety.
• Monitor material levels in SOS Bins.
• Record detailed notes on activities and materials during shift.
• M aintain/repair department equipment such as blowers.

Seasonal-FULL TIME WAGE- $19.52 HR Shift- Monday to Friday - 5:00AM to 2:00PM

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

• The purpose of this role is to maintain the grounds on resort to the highest standards, including general maintenance, landscaping and waste management.
• Performs snow removal activities on Blue Mountain Resort property and Resort affiliated properties.
• Work includes, but not limited to; removing snow utilizing shovels and/or snow blowers, applying Ice Melt and/or sand as required.
• Conducts ice patrols and assesses general hazards to ensure the safety of our guests and employees.
• Monitors material levels in SOS Bins.
• Records detailed notes on activities and material applications throughout shift.
• Makes basic repairs/maintenance of department equipment such as blowers.

WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM ME?

• Valid Class “G” Driver’s License an asset.
• High school or equivalent education preferred.
• Must be physically fit; able to lift and carry heavy materials and perform repetitive tasks involving shoveling, bending, stretching, walking and kneeling.
• Experience with snow removal an asset.
• Knowledge of the Resort an asset.
