Job summary

End Of The Roll Flooring Centres in Ontario is seeking an installation specialist to measure, cut, and install carpets and other floor coverings on varied sites. This role requires careful workmanship and the ability to work physically demanding tasks on floors and walls.

Applicants typically have 7 months to less than 1 year of experience and no degree required, with on-site training and opportunities to learn new flooring techniques. Frequent travel may be required; free parking is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in flooring installation is beneficial (7 months to <1 year).
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks (bending, lifting).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, measure and plan installations of flooring surfaces.
• Measure, cut and fit underlay and underpadding.
• Measure, cut and install carpeting on floors and walls.
• Prepare floors for installation and remove old coverings.
• Estimate costs and materials for projects.
• Ensure precise alignment and secure fastening of materials.
• Follow safety guidelines during installation.
• Coordinate with team to complete on-site work.

• Perform double-bond carpet installations
• Install outdoor carpets
