Job summary

End Of The Roll Flooring Centres in Victoria, BC is seeking a ready-to-train flooring installer to join our on-site team.

No experience is required; we provide full training, and you will measure, cut, and install carpeting and other floor coverings while ensuring safety and quality.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to read basic blueprints and schedules is preferred but not mandatory.
• Valid driver's license is required to operate site transportation.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements.
• Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding.
• Prepare flooring plans and scheduling.
• Measure, cut and install carpeting on floors.
• Prepare and install hardwood floors.
• Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings.
• Conduct moisture, pH, temperature and other tests prior to flooring installations.
