Position Overview

We are seeking a Fleet Planning & Cost Analyst Supervisor to support transportation operations. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on dispatch responsibilities. The Analyst will be responsible for linehaul network design, carrier bidding, cost analysis, and dispatch planning to ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective freight transportation nationwide.

Responsibilities
  • Support linehaul dispatch planning, including route design, scheduling, and capacity allocation.
  • Develop and maintain the fleet capacity model, providing forecasts and peak season plans.
  • Lead or support carrier bidding processes; establish and manage the approved carrier pool.
  • Analyze transportation costs (CPM, utilization, empty miles) and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Prepare regular reports on cost performance, service levels, and capacity planning for management.
  • Coordinate with Fleet Operations to ensure plans are executed effectively nationwide.
  • Maintain accurate planning documents, bidding records, and cost analysis reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall efficiency and reliability of the fleet network.
Qualifications
  • 2–4 years of experience in transportation planning, cost analysis, or dispatch support.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, or related field required.
  • Strong data analysis skills (Excel, SQL, or BI tools); experience with TMS.
  • Familiarity with U.S. linehaul trucking operations (FTL/LTL, CPM models, bidding).
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin strongly.
  • Ability to balance strategic analysis with hands-on dispatch planning tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills; able to work under pressure during peak season.
