Administer damage recovery invoicing to customers, manage relationships with Global Transportation/Driveaway companies, and oversee the Global Mileage Database efficiently and professionally.
Job Description
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
- Provide daily supervision and leadership to administrative support staff dealing with damage recovery, transportation, fleet preventive maintenance, and repair review. Administer damage recovery invoicing to customers, manage relationships with Global Transportation/Driveaway companies, and oversee the Global Mileage Database efficiently and professionally.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage staffing processes, including scheduling and hiring, to ensure adequate levels; hold staff accountable for work quality and performance, developing and communicating standards of production and service.
- Ensure staff compliance with policies and procedures; direct training programs for understanding and adherence.
- Review Damage Recovery claims from service providers and invoice them back to the appropriate Global Customer.
- Oversee communication with Driveaway companies to ensure all paperwork is current.
- Negotiate rates with Driveaway companies and monitor usage metrics.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Global Mileage database; train users on its operation.
- Handle insurance inquiries related to accidents involving Global units on rent.
- Train transportation administrative staff in handling all aspects of Global transportation moves.
- Review and process toll violations, DMV fines, and invoices back to customers.
- Oversee transportation spend, report trends, and vendor participation to the Controller.
- Approve and set up transportation vendors, ensuring proper insurance and viability.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Skills Required
- Bachelor's Degree (4-year)
- 5+ years experience in Fleet Maintenance or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and with team members
