Job summary

Amyantek in Toronto, Ontario is seeking a hands-on Fleet Driver Supervisor to lead our drivers across multiple locations. You will ensure safety, efficiency, and alignment with company standards while actively shaping driver performance and engagement.

Reporting to the VP of Operations, the role focuses on building a strong driver culture, optimizing routes, supervising field teams, and guiding onboarding and training.

Qualifications

• College Diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
• AZ license required and experience driving a roll-off truck.
• 2–4 years in transportation, logistics, or fleet operations.
• 2+ years supervising or leading drivers or field-based teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Solid knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Willingness to travel between company locations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily driver operations, ensuring routes are completed efficiently and on schedule.
• Supervise, coach, and support all company drivers, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and performance.
• Conduct regular ride-along, performance reviews, and driver check-ins to ensure service standards are met.
• Act as the primary point of contact for drivers, addressing concerns, resolving issues, and providing guidance.
• Monitor driver behavior, attendance, and productivity; implement corrective actions and recognition programs as needed.
• Ensure full compliance with transportation regulations, company policies, and health & safety standards.
• Collaborate with dispatch and operations teams to optimize route planning and driver utilization.
• Support onboarding and training of new drivers, including safety procedures and company expectations.
• Identify operational gaps related to driver performance and implement improvements.
• Assist with incident investigations, reporting, and root-cause analysis.

Due to company growth we are seeking a hands-on, results-driven Fleet Driver Supervisor to lead and support our team of drivers across multiple locations. Reporting to the Vice President, Operations, this role is responsible for ensuring drivers operate safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards.

This position is ideal for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of driver performance and engagement, and is actively involved in day-to-day operations. You will play a key role in building a strong driver culture, improving delivery service, and maintaining high compliance standards.

Position Requirements

• College Diploma or equivalent experience preferred
• Has to have driven a roll off truck before / has to have an AZ license.
• 2-4 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet operations.
• 2+ years of experience supervising or leading drivers or field-based teams.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and hold drivers accountable.
• Solid understanding of transportation regulations and safety standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Willingness to travel between company locations as needed.
