Job summary

A seafood processing company in Little River, Nova Scotia, is seeking individuals for a permanent position involving cutting, cleaning, and trimming fish or seafood. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks. Candidates will receive training and must be legally eligible to work in Canada. This position offers 30 to 60 hours of work per week in a demanding but rewarding environment.

  • Will train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Cut, clean and trim fish or seafood prior to marketing or further processing.
  • Inspect fish fillets to determine optimal number and size of fillets.
  • Scrape away scales, cut fish, separate fillets and remove scrap parts using knife.
  • Disjoint and remove meat from lobsters or other crustaceans.
