The Firmware Security Engineering group is responsible for developing Platform Security and Content Protection features across the software stack including device drivers, firmware, and application-level interfaces. Within the larger Security group, the GPU Platform Security Team is responsible for the Firmware Security Stack that runs on the entire range of AMD Graphics Processing Units which include Cloud/Consumer Gaming, Workstation, Data Center and AI, enabling our customers to build solutions and driving the next wave of innovation in Exascale computing.

As a member of the GPU Platform Security Team you will participate in all aspects of the development life cycle, engaging on parallel assignments spanning the software stack, developing embedded firmware and device drivers, working closely with a wide range of hardware, software and validation teams.
You will be responsible for enhancing and expanding test coverage for security firmware features across a range of hardware platforms. This includes designing, implementing, and automating test cases that validate functionality, performance, and security aspects of low-level firmware components. You will work closely with senior engineers to understand feature specifications and evolve test strategies toward production‑grade quality.
