Job summary

National Bank’s Commercial & Private wealth Management 1859 team seeks a Manager of Financing Solutions. Based in Montreal, this role combines credit expertise with collaboration with commercial account managers and external partners to deliver tailored financing solutions.

You will contribute to high-quality credit analyses, structure financing, negotiate terms, and coordinate with Risk Management to meet profitability standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 6 years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 4 years, or National Bank University Program diploma with 8 years.
• Negotiation experience.
• Experience in commercial credit.
• Experience analyzing financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality credit analyses and make recommendations.
• Structure credit applications (board sheet structuring) and mitigate risks.
• Determine client financing needs with the Commercial Account Manager.
• Negotiate credit terms with Credit Risk Management as needed.
• Present credit applications to the RVP after preliminary review.
• Update client files and ensure efficient processing of credit applications.
• Act as a resource for the team on credit matters and assist development.
• Identify risks inherent to sector activities.
