You will oversee origination, structuring, and execution of bilateral, syndicated, cross-border, and specialized financing, ensuring risk discipline and strategic alignment.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with risk and sales teams, and ongoing development of national growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• More than 12 years of experience in commercial and corporate banking.
• Recognized expertise in complex credit analysis and structuring.
• Significant experience leading teams of specialized professionals.
• Deep knowledge of corporate credit markets and syndicated financing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee origination and structuring of complex financing solutions for large Canadian and international corporations.
• Provide leadership for bilateral and syndicated credit facilities and specialized financing transactions.
• Ensure sound credit structures, covenants, collateral arrangements, and risk mitigation mechanisms.
• Support teams in evaluating and negotiating financial and legal terms and conditions.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor on strategic transactions.
