Job summary

National Bank of Canada in Mississauga, Ontario, is seeking a Manager, Financing Solutions within the Commercial & Private Banking 1859 team. You will work closely with Commercial Account Managers and other partners as a credit expert to deliver tailored financing solutions.

You will analyze credit, structure applications, negotiate terms, and help clients meet their financing needs while upholding the Bank's risk criteria. Travel may be required and hybrid work is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 6 years of experience, or a master’s with 4 years, or an NB Program diploma with 8 years.
• Experience in commercial credit.
• Experience analyzing financial statements.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with collaborators.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality credit analyses and make recommendations.
• Structure credit applications and develop financing scenarios.
• Determine client financing needs with the Commercial Account Manager.
• Negotiate credit terms with Credit Risk Management as needed.
• Obtain comments from Account Managers and present to the RVP.
• Produce documents and update client files to ensure efficient processing.
• Act as a resource for the team on credit matters and mentor others.
• Identify risks inherent to sector activities.
