Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong experience in commercial credit underwriting.
• Experience analyzing financial statements.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with partners.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth financial and complex credit underwriting and make recommendations.
• Structure complex credit applications by mitigating risks and developing financing scenarios.
• Collaborate with the Commercial Account Manager to determine client financing needs and support deal origination.
• Negotiate credit terms with Credit Risk Management and confirm financing availability.
• Prepare and adjust credit applications, present to the RVP for approval.
• Produce documents and update client files to ensure efficient processing.
• Act as a resource to the team on credit matters and support skills development.
• Identify sector-related risks inherent to the client base.
