Job summary

Money Mart is seeking a Retail Sales Associate in Vancouver to deliver excellent customer service and drive branch sales. You will interview customers, assess lending needs, process transactions, and promote multiple financial products while maintaining accurate records in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires one year of retail or cash-handling experience, strong English communication, and the ability to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year in retail/sales or similar.
• Experience with cash handling and POS transactions.
• Strong English communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional customer service by assessing needs, completing transactions, answering questions, and cross‑selling products and services.
• Promote and process loans, credit cards, cheque cashing, money transfers, money orders, bill payments, and other related products based on customer needs and policies.
• Identify cross‑selling and referral opportunities to increase product awareness and meet sales goals.
• Explain product features, fees, terms, and options using approved materials.
• Collect and verify required customer information to process products and services, ensuring completeness and compliance.
• Maintain accurate customer information in required systems.
• Follow KYC/AML/ATF and privacy procedures.
• Process cash, POS, and financial transactions accurately.
• Reconcile cash drawer and follow safety procedures.
• Support branch opening/closing and paperwork.
• Complete other duties as directed and be available for flexible shifts.
