Job summary

Pomerleau in Canada seeks a strategic finance leader to act as a business partner to the Procurement and Logistics leadership team, turning financial data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations. You’ll help managers reach financial and operational goals and present results to Directors and Vice Presidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• CPA designation is a strong asset.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in management control, corporate finance, financial planning, or management accounting.
• Proven experience partnering with business leaders and presenting to senior management.
• Strong budgeting, CAPEX investments, and performance measurement knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and medium-term financial planning processes.
• Analyze financial and operational performance to identify variances, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop actionable business recommendations and support strategic decision-making.
• Prepare and present performance reviews to Directors and Vice Presidents.
• Perform or oversee complex financial analyses, investment scenarios, and profitability assessments.
• Develop and maintain a performance management framework based on relevant key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Provide functional leadership and guidance to the Finance Centre of Excellence team.
