Job summary

Pomerleau is seeking a Project Controls professional to join our nationwide teams. Under supervision of the PCO, you will act as an expert in project control disciplines and support project teams with analyses, recommendations, and improved methods to enhance delivery quality and predictability.

You will conduct complex analyses on costs, schedules, risks, changes, and performance indicators; develop and standardize tools and processes; identify risks and opportunities; and contribute to

• College or university degree in project management, engineering, administration, or related field.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in project control or a related field.
• Bilingualism in French and English is required; drafting/reviewing documents in both languages.

They support project teams through analyses, recommendations, and the development of methods to improve performance, predictability, and the quality of deliverables.

• Participate in the identification, assessment, and monitoring of risks and opportunities.
• Support project teams in addressing complex issues.
• Conduct audits and compliance reviews against established standards.
• Contribute to the training and mentoring of coordinators and analysts.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of departmental practices.
• Monitor best practices and technologies applicable to project control.

This role could be for you if you have

• College or university degree in project management, engineering, administration, or a related field.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in project control or a related field.
• Good knowledge of project management principles.
• Knowledge of project management and project control tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Bilingualism (French and English) is required, as the incumbent will be responsible for drafting and reviewing documents in both languages and will regularly interact with stakeholders located outside Quebec as part of national projects and initiatives.
• Occasional travel is required to various project sites and offices across Quebec, based on business needs.
