Job summary

Pomerleau is seeking an experienced project control professional to support project teams under the supervision of the Project Control Officer. The role involves performing analyses on costs, schedules, risks, and performance indicators, and developing tools to improve performance and deliverables quality.

You'll contribute to risk assessment, monitoring of projects across Quebec, and training of coordinators.

Qualifications

• College or university degree in project management, engineering, administration, or a related field.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in project control or a related field.
• Good knowledge of project management principles.
• Knowledge of project management and project control tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Bilingual French and English required for national projects and stakeholder interactions.

• Contribute to the training and mentoring of coordinators and analysts.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of departmental practices.
• Monitor best practices and technologies applicable to project control.

Under the supervision of the Project Control Officer (PCO) or their representative, the incumbent acts as an expert in one or more project control disciplines. They support project teams through analyses, recommendations, and the development of methods to improve performance, predictability, and the quality of deliverables.

This role could be for you if you have

• College or university degree in project management, engineering, administration, or a related field.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in project control or a related field.
• Good knowledge of project management principles.
• Knowledge of project management and project control tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Bilingualism (French and English) is required, as the incumbent will be responsible for drafting and reviewing documents in both languages and will regularly interact with stakeholders located outside Quebec as part of national projects and initiatives.
• Occasional travel is required to various project sites and offices across Quebec, based on business needs.
