The Financial Analyst-Commercial Sales will be responsible for analyzing sales data, forecasting revenue, and collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to optimize performance for Saint-Gobain.

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?

Main Responsibilities:

1. Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas of concern.
2. Generate the daily Pace Report for IPG & EPG teams.
3. Financial Forecasting and Budgeting:
   1. Assist in maintaining financial models, forecasts, and budgets aligned with commercial sales goals.
   2. Update financial models for business unit category lines.
4. Performance Reporting:
   1. Prepare regular reports and presentations to management, highlighting key sales metrics, performance against targets, and potential risks and opportunities.
   2. Issue monthly Management Control Reports (MCRs) for select Saint-Gobain business units.
5. New Product Development (NPD):
   1. Assist with financials for NPD.
   2. Prepare and analyze post-launch P&L for new products.
6. Data Analysis and Interpretation:
   1. Gather, analyze, and interpret financial data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
   2. Incorporate Power BI dashboards into monthly reporting.
7. Ad Hoc:
   1. Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support for specific commercial initiatives as needed.

The profile:

1. A bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting with a minimum of 1 year of experience dealing with analytical tasks.
2. Effective written and oral communication skills.
3. Ability to work in teams and with multiple levels of the organization.
4. Must be detail-oriented to ensure accuracy and completeness of information.
5. Previous experience with SAP, QlikView, and Power BI is an asset.
6. Able to navigate data and use database tools such as Query tools, advanced Excel functions, and other cube-based platforms.
7. Work in our hybrid mode based at Mississauga.
