We are hiring Sales Operations Analysts to join a team of experts who help Canonical's sales teams achieve their business goals. The Sales Operations team focuses on continuous process and data quality improvement to ensure accurate order processing. The successful candidate will be proactive in improving team workflows, maintaining compliance, and governance.

The role's success is measured by increased deal velocity and the quality of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) data used for business decisions. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver, a team player, and passionate about partnering with sales leadership and supporting Canonical’s growth in the tech industry through open source solutions.

Location: These roles are remote within the EMEA and Americas regions.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Supporting daily sales operations globally.
  2. Reviewing opportunities for accuracy and provisioning orders upon deal closure.
  3. Assisting the Sales Operations Manager to improve sales data quality and processes.
  4. Reporting on data quality metrics to executive stakeholders.
  5. Implementing surveys and defining metrics for executive reporting.
  6. Supporting the sales team on CRM and other systems.
  7. Delivering sales metrics, dashboards, and ad-hoc analysis.
  8. Leading automation and streamlining the Lead to Order process.
Candidate profile:
  1. Strong academic record from high school and university.
  2. Experience in sales operations or sales order processing roles.
  3. Experience in a technology subscription-based business.
  4. Proven ability to drive data quality improvements.
  5. Energetic, systematic, and focused on scalable outcomes.
  6. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  7. Ability to work effectively across global stakeholders.
  8. Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
  9. Willingness to travel internationally twice a year for company events.
