Job summary

BGIS is seeking a Facility Manager I to oversee operations and maintenance for a portfolio of facilities in Canada. The role focuses on delivering safe, reliable building performance and meeting client expectations.

The candidate will manage annual facility plans, coordinate with internal teams and service providers, and ensure documentation is current while driving continuous improvement and cost discipline.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of facility management experience, or 3–5 years in related work
• Diploma or equivalent in facility management or a related field
• Knowledge of building systems and safety regulations
• Strong budget discipline and project delivery abilities

Responsibilities

• Manages operations and maintenance for a portfolio of facilities.
• Ensures facility uptime and safe, reliable operations.
• Develops annual facility management plans.
• Oversees maintenance and vendor performance to meet quality requirements.
• Maintains documentation in service maintenance databases.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to optimize the portfolio.
