Service Advisor – Recreational Vehicles

If you are a natural people-pleaser and a good listener who also loves recreational vehicles, then our dealership has the perfect job for you. We need an RV Service Advisor who is an outstanding communicator, maintains a professional appearance, and has a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will be comfortable greeting customers, scheduling appointments, and acting as a liaison between customers and service technicians. Successful candidates will also possess excellent follow-through skills and a keen eye for detail.

Job Responsibilities

1. Greet service department customers promptly and courteously.
2. Listen to customer needs and clearly communicate repair requirements to technicians.
3. Upsell recommended or additional services using low-pressure, high-integrity methods.
4. Provide accurate estimates for repair and maintenance costs.
5. Follow dealership policies regarding customer vehicle care and operation.
6. Follow up on repairs and keep customers informed of progress.
7. Manage and sell extended warranties.
8. Inspect repair quality and ensure all work is completed satisfactorily.
9. Notify customers when their vehicles are ready for pickup.
10. Explain repairs and associated costs to customers.
11. Handle minor customer concerns and complaints effectively.
12. Keep the Service Manager informed of any issues or potential problems.
13. Maintain Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores according to dealership standards.

Education and Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Experience in a service-related position is preferred but not mandatory.
