Kent Building Supplies is seeking a Contractor Sales Representative to support contractor customers across Atlantic Canada. The role focuses on understanding client needs, providing quotes and planning construction projects, with a base salary plus uncapped commission after a probationary period.

You will be part of a growing team, driving sales targets and building relationships with contractors and accounts while learning about products and market conditions.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly build trust with new customers and maintain relationships with existing accounts.
• Sales experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of lumber and building materials, and the construction process is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates high standards of safety and customer service.
• Is a resource for sales associates.
• Produces quotes, material lists and follows up on deliveries.
• Achieves weekly, monthly and annual sales targets.
• Maintains a contact list and contact schedule for prospective and existing customers.
• Grows the geographic sales area by building new relationships with contractors and strengthening relationships with existing accounts.
• Continually learns about products and market conditions.
