Job summary

MT Seymour is seeking a Rock Chute Cook to join The Rock Chute Kitchen & Bar in North Vancouver. You will prepare pub and cafeteria-style meals in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and ensure the kitchen stays well stocked and clean.

You will work as a supportive team member with strong communication, thriving under pressure, and a passion for quality food. This seasonal role runs December through mid-April, with a starting wage of CAD 23.10 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• You have at least two years of cooking experience in a restaurant.
• You must have a food safety certificate.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pub and cafeteria-style food in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen.
• Keep the kitchen well stocked and stations clean.
• Work collaboratively with the team to maintain quality and efficiency.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Cook position works in The Rock Chute Kitchen & Bar and will be responsible for preparing all pub and/or cafeteria-style food in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. You also make sure the kitchen is well stocked and stations are kept clean.

• $23.10 per hour (depending on experience)
• Complimentary seasonpass and shuttle bus pass.
