Organization Overview
Our client represents and advocates for their industry across Saskatchewan. The Association supports its members through advocacy, education, collaboration, and strong relationships with regulatory and industry partners. Its mandate is to promote professional standards and foster a sustainable, forward-thinking industry within the province.

Position Summary
The Association is seeking a dynamic and relationship-driven Executive Director to oversee day-to-day operations and act as the primary liaison with suppliers, industry partners, and key stakeholders.

This role is well suited to an individual who thrives in a multifaceted environment and is comfortable serving as a relationship builder, communicator, organizer, and ambassador. The Executive Director will be responsible for growing membership, securing sponsorships and partner support, promoting the Association’s value, and strengthening collaboration across the industry.
This is a remote, full-time position offering flexibility, independence, and the opportunity to make a meaningful industry impact.

Key Responsibilities
Industry Liaison & Advocacy

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the Association and industry stakeholders
  • Represent the Association professionally, fostering productive and collaborative relationships
  • Monitor emerging industry issues and communicate insights to the Board and stakeholders

Membership Growth & Business Development

  • Recruit new member organizations by clearly communicating the benefits of membership
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and partners
  • Secure sponsorships and donations to support events, education, and initiatives
  • Promote Association programs and activities to drive engagement and participation

Marketing & Communications

  • Prepare and distribute a weekly newsletter highlighting industry updates, best practices, and Association activities
  • Support marketing initiatives, including digital communications, social media, and promotional materials
  • Ensure messaging is clear, consistent, and aligned with the Association’s value proposition

Board & Committee Support

  • Coordinate quarterly Board of Directors meetings, including agendas, materials, and follow-up
  • Attend and support Technical Subcommittee and Adjuster Working Group meetings (typically quarterly)
  • Provide continuity and communication between the Board, committees, and stakeholders

Events & Programming

  • Plan and support annual Spring and Fall Conferences
  • Collaborate with sponsors, suppliers, and partners on education sessions and networking opportunities
  • Ensure events are well-executed and deliver tangible value to members

Administration, Budgeting & Reporting

  • Support year-end reviews and reporting to the Board
  • Assist with annual budget development and tracking key initiatives
  • Maintain organized records to ensure continuity and transparency

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven relationship builder with a collaborative, professional approach
  • Comfortable with business development, sponsorship discussions, and member recruitment
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail
  • Proficient with digital tools, email marketing platforms, and basic CRM or tracking systems
  • Marketing or promotional experience is considered an asset
  • Self-directed and effective in a remote work environment
  • Willingness and ability to travel within Saskatchewan

Experience & Education

  • Experience in an industry association, non-profit, membership-based organization, or business development role preferred
  • Exposure to regulated industries or work with government agencies is an asset
  • Education in business administration, communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field preferred
