Compass Group Canada is seeking a proactive Bookings Specialist to manage event bookings and coordinate services from planning through execution in the Toronto area. You will serve as the main contact for organizers, ensuring seamless logistics and superior guest experiences.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask across multiple events while collaborating with internal teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience in event coordination, hospitality, customer service, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with event management or booking systems is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate meeting and event bookings, including room setup, catering, and audiovisual requirements.
• Serve as the primary contact for event organizers, providing guidance and support throughout the planning process.
• Manage multiple events simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful event execution.
• Coordinate catering orders, menu selections, and dietary accommodations.
• Prepare event documentation and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Assist with event budgets, estimates, billing inquiries, and administrative tracking.
• Maintain accurate event records and respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Act as host when required to warmly greet and welcome our clients and guests.
• Support a high standard of hospitality and guest experience at all times.
