Job summary

COMPASS GROUP CANADA is seeking an Events & Catering Specialist to manage private dining bookings and small events on the Premium Dining floor. The role requires meticulous planning, coordination with culinary teams, and strong vendor management to deliver seamless guest experiences.

Candidate should have 3+ years in hospitality events, be proficient in MS Office, and hold SmartServe, Food Handling, and CPR-C certifications. Flex hours and on-site work are expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in hospitality environments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain admin systems.
• Proficiency with MS Office and CRM/database tools.
• Willingness to work flexible hours for events.

Responsibilities

• Manage event inquiries and private dining room bookings.
• Coordinate event logistics, food and beverage services, and vendor coordination.
• Oversee onsite event delivery and post-event follow-ups.
• Collaborate with Corporate Events team to improve hospitality experiences.
• Handle administrative tasks including invoices, POs, and reconciliations.
• Support site inventory management and equipment maintenance.
