Mississauga Convention Centre is seeking a motivated Venue Sales Representative to drive bookings and revenue in a performance-based role. You will generate leads, qualify inquiries, tour venues, present tailored packages, and close sales.

The ideal candidate thrives on meeting hard targets, builds strong client relationships, and collaborates with events and operations teams to ensure seamless event execution. Prior venue sales or hospitality experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify, pursue, and secure venue bookings to drive revenue growth.
• Respond to inquiries, qualify leads, follow up with prospective clients, and convert opportunities into bookings.
• Identify and approach potential clients, corporate organizations, event planners, and wedding planners.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Conduct venue tours, present packages, and tailor proposals to client needs.
• Prepare proposals and quotations, discuss packages, negotiate within guidelines, and close sales.
• Meet weekly and monthly sales targets and revenue goals.
• Maintain an organized pipeline of leads and ensure timely follow-ups.
• Provide regular updates on sales activity, bookings, pipeline and performance against targets.
• Identify new market segments and partnerships to increase bookings.
• Work with events and operations teams for smooth transition from booking to event execution.
