Job summary

Germain Hotels invites an organized Sales Coordinator to ensure smooth coordination of group stays, meetings and events across our properties in Canada.

You will liaise between guests, the Sales team, Operations, Food & Beverage, and suppliers to ensure every detail meets our standards, with occasional evenings/weekends required.

This role emphasizes collaboration, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, events, or sales is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Opera PMS knowledge is an asset.
• Strong multitasking, organization, and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; proactive service mindset.
• Evening/weekend availability as events require.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate requests related to meeting rooms, banquets, and events with Business Development Managers.
• Follow up on group stays and event needs, including room bookings and operational details.
• Communicate with guests and contacts to clarify needs and provide attentive follow-up.
• Coordinate activities with other departments and external suppliers per contracts.
• Serve as link between guests, internal teams and Food & Beverage partners to ensure needs are met.
• Participate in operational and BEO meetings to share essential information.
• Maximize meeting space usage and contribute to revenue goals for groups and events.
• Support sales team with requests, quotes and follow-ups as required.
• Handle administrative tasks: contracts, rooming lists, special requests, and billing.
