Job summary

Germain Hotels is seeking an energetic Conference Porter to ensure seamless event support and guest experiences at our property in Quebec. You will work across departments to deliver attentive service and help with meals, luggage, and room setups.

The role emphasizes adaptability, teamwork, and a positive approach to meet varied requests, from lunches to banquet coordination, while contributing to a memorable guest stay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, an asset.
• Experience in restaurant service, an asset.
• Good time management and adaptability.
• Determination and team spirit.
• Good physical fitness: standing for long periods, lifting loads and performing certain repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality service by working in collaboration with several departments.
• Take part in setting up and dismantling the lunch area and meeting and banquet rooms.
• Serve meals and coffee breaks and assist guests with their luggage, as required.
• Perform various reception, delivery, storage, supply or maintenance tasks.
• Contribute, through your individuality and creativity, to constantly improving the experience of our guests.
