Job summary

Confidential is seeking an afternoon-shift operations supervisor in Mississauga to lead site operations, safety, and cost control while driving continuous improvement. You will mentor staff, coordinate with maintenance, and partner with HR to manage performance and training.

The role requires 5–7 years of frontline supervisory manufacturing experience, Lean/Six Sigma knowledge, and strong problem-solving skills. Base pay ranges CAD 64k–88k with benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership by mentoring, coaching, and developing employees while fostering a positive, productive work environment.
• Lead and enhance safety performance on shift through training, accident prevention initiatives, and adherence to workplace safety standards.
• Manage shift maintenance activities and coordinate with maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues and minimize operational downtime.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by implementing best practices to improve efficiency, quality, and cost performance across operations.
• Monitor operational costs, productivity, and yield metrics while partnering with site leadership to achieve business objectives.
• Address performance, attendance, and employee relations matters in partnership with Human Resources.
• Ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, work instructions, and operational standards.
