Job summary

CHEP Canada Corp. is seeking an experienced operations supervisor to lead shift teams at our Canadian plant.

You will mentor staff, drive safety culture, deliver procedures with quality and cost discipline, and partner with leadership to optimize performance. Requirements include 5–7 years frontline supervisory experience in production, manufacturing, logistics or customer service and knowledge of formal safety programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma.
• 5–7 years frontline supervisory experience in production, manufacturing, logistics or customer service.
• Experience with formal safety programs; CHEP experience is an asset.
• Maintenance programs and regulatory knowledge are assets.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; SAP, Kronos/UKG, CMMS are assets.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on leadership by mentoring, coaching, and guiding employees.
• Lead safety performance on shift and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Direct plant operations within CHEP safety guidelines for all customers and contractors.
• Manage shift payroll and HR-related matters in collaboration with HR.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost‑effectiveness.
