Job summary

Qualifications

• Preferably a College Diploma in Business Management with focus in Logistics Management and/or the equivalent in experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule the labour requirements for the shift to ensure production goals are met within the budgeted cost structure.
• Complete shift briefings to ensure the effective communication of relevant information to all employees.
• Assign and follow up with operators and warehouse staff on the length of time required for tasks to be completed.
• Ensure the sequences of orders are picked based on priority shipments and priority customers; reduce waiting times for drivers and late deliveries.
• Hold Team Members accountable for proper picking and packing procedures and product quality.
• Monitor, analyze and report daily/weekly departmental performance through KPI tracking and data collection.
• Approve labour hours daily using company policies and ensure proper payment and cost allocation.
• Provide daily feedback and coaching; handle disciplinary situations with documentation.
• Maintain strong customer interaction to understand service requirements and communicate accordingly.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and uphold OH&S standards.
