Shift Supervisor – Sibelco Group

Location: Brampton

Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership & Training: train and supervise production staff, enforce policies, manage schedules, and promote a positive work culture.
  • Safety & Compliance: uphold safety standards (LOTO, PPE, machine guarding), enforce procedures, and report incidents promptly.
  • Production Oversight: monitor workflow, adjust line speeds, ensure material availability, and meet daily production goals.
  • Quality & Maintenance: oversee quality checks, maintain equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and support lean initiatives.
  • Communication & Coordination: facilitate shift handovers, attend production meetings, and ensure clear communication across teams.
  • Equipment Operation: operate forklifts, loaders, and other machinery as needed; assist with line setup and troubleshooting.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
  • 2–5+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of plant operations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, and quality control processes.
  • Forklift and heavy equipment operation experience.
