Job summary

Confidential is seeking an afternoon-shift operations supervisor in Mississauga to lead site operations, safety, and cost control while driving continuous improvement. You will mentor staff, coordinate with maintenance, and partner with HR to manage performance and training.

The role requires 5–7 years of frontline supervisory manufacturing experience, Lean/Six Sigma knowledge, and strong problem-solving skills. Base pay ranges CAD 64k–88k with benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor operational costs, productivity, and yield metrics while partnering with site leadership to achieve business objectives.
• Address performance, attendance, and employee relations matters in partnership with Human Resources.

Support site operations to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction by delivering excellence in safety, service, quality, and cost management. Partner with site leadership to provide effective leadership and development for operations staff, including recruiting, training, coaching, and performance management, while driving continuous improvement initiatives. Hours are Monday-Friday 330pm-1130pm.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with production planning and workflow optimization.
• Strong relationship-building, analytical problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
• Experience with recruitment, hiring, employee development, and corrective action processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with ERP systems, workforce management platforms, and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is an asset.

Experience

• 5-7 years of frontline supervisory experience in manufacturing
• Experience leading teams within a formal safety program.
• Experience working in a regulated operational environment is an asset.
• Maintenance planning or maintenance program exposure is an asset.

Base pay range is $64,000 - 88,000 annually

Salary ranges provided take into account a wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications, geographic differentials and other business and organizational needs. Therefore, actual amounts offered may be higher or lower than the range provided.
