Job summary

Green Infrastructure Partners (GIP) is seeking an Environmental Coordinator in Toronto, ON to support environmental compliance across the project lifecycle. You will work with the Technical Services team, construction crews, subcontractors, and Environmental Authorities to implement ISO 14001 aligned practices.

Ideal candidates have a B.Sc. in Environmental Engineering, 3–5 years of construction experience, and strong communication skills to drive risk management and reporting while coordinating

Qualifications

• B.Sc. degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of Construction industry experience required.
• Experience in Transit projects preferred.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations and other relevant laws.
• Results-driven with ability to deliver in fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Environmental Management System on the project site.
• Audit and report environmental performance and risks.
• Coordinate with Environmental Authorities and stakeholders.
• Assist with environmental permits applications and management.
• Oversee environmental aspects of project design and schedules.
• Prepare quarterly and annual environmental reports.
