Taggart Construction Ltd is seeking a proactive Environmental Coordinator to support our operations in Ottawa. Reporting to the Environmental Manager, you will play a key role in environmental compliance, monitoring, reclamation, and sustainability initiatives.

This role thrives on collaboration, problem-solving, and ensuring operations meet regulatory standards. You will coordinate field programs, prepare annual and regulatory reports, and guide staff on environmental issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with data collection and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field programs and oversee the development and timely submission of annual reports and other required federal and provincial reports.
• Assist with the collection, analysis, and reporting of environmental data related to water, soil, and biodiversity, including managing third-party contractors.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards, preparing environmental reports as required by regulators.
• Maintain and update environmental monitoring systems, tracking performance against targets and regulations.
