Job summary

Green Infrastructure Partners is seeking a Project Coordinator to support a large-scale construction project in the GTA, ON. The role focuses on administrative and technical support to ensure drawings, specifications, and safety standards are followed on site.

The ideal candidate has a civil engineering or construction management background, 2 years of site experience, and strong communication skills to coordinate with the project team, owners, and consultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 2 years of construction experience preferred.
• Experience on MTO road construction projects is desired.
• Experience in AFP/P3 Design-Build projects is an asset.
• Exposure to road and bridge construction.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities.
• Results-driven in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in on-site management to ensure drawings and specifications are followed.
• Support planning and scheduling, determining manpower, materials, inspections, equipment requirements.
• Monitor work performance to ensure safety, procedures, and rules are followed.
• Advise of potential problems and assist in resolving schedule difficulties.
• Maintain and analyze cost reports to keep the project within budget.
• Meet with Owners and Consultants and communicate concerns and interests.
• Interface with project team, subcontractors and third parties.
• Monitor and inspect site to maintain a safe work environment and ensure standards are followed.
