Job summary

PCL Constructors Westcoast Inc. is seeking an Engineering Student for the BC Region, based in Richmond, to support project delivery for 4–12 months starting January 2027. You will report to the Project Manager and gain exposure to drawing coordination, schedules, and field operations.

You will work with Primavera P6 and AutoCAD, perform quantity takeoffs, and help maintain field drawings. This student role emphasizes practical construction experience and professional growth within a supportive

• Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment.
• Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating drawings and work specific scope/trades/sub-trades
• Conduction of trade quote reviews by verifying material quantities, hours and rates
• Participation in project meetings
• Completion of deficiency walks and updating of deficiency logs
• Issues warranties
• Takes/coordinates progress photos
• Updates field drawings and produces as-built drawings
• Performance of quantity takeoffs
• Verification of site conditions and coordination of drawings
• Set-up and maintenance of records
• Project schedule updates and creation of manual schedules using Primavera P6 EPPM software
• Creating and maintaining graphical scheduling using AutoCAD
• Monitoring of workforce productivity

Pay Range: $22.26-$27.30

PCL Student wages are determined individually for each student based on the number of completed school terms, relevant work terms, kind of role and work location.
