Job summary

Affirm is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Marketing & Privacy Engineering (MPE) team. Remote Canada. You will lead two pillars—Marketing and Consumer Privacy—creating a unified mission, guiding engineers, and aligning priorities with product and business goals.

You will partner with product managers and technical leads, drive engineering plans, and oversee initiatives across measurement, consent, and privacy experiences, balancing reliability with speed.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing software engineers in cross-functional teams.
• Strong technical judgment and web platform experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow engineers across Marketing and Consumer Privacy engineering pillars.
• Define and implement a shared operating model for MPE aligning priorities, ownership, and workflows.
• Translate product and business priorities into engineering plans and roadmaps for the pillars.
• Guide strategy and execution across client/server tagging, measurement, privacy experiences, and data collection.
