Job summary

HH Angus is seeking a Technical Leader to guide the Energy team's technical direction, project delivery, and growth. You will lead on complex utility infrastructure, renewable energy, solar, BESS, interconnection, and other low-carbon initiatives while developing client partnerships and expanding market presence.

Success in this role requires strong technical leadership, business development skills, and the ability to manage multi-year engineering projects from concept through construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; P.Eng. in Ontario is required.
• 10–15 years of electrical engineering consulting experience in energy or utilities.
• Proven ability to lead complex, multi-year projects and manage client relations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and project leadership on complex, multi-year energy projects.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and ensure design quality and peer reviews.
• Develop and oversee project execution plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Support business development and pursue new opportunities in energy markets.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients throughout project lifecycles.
• Contribute to design standards and criteria across the organization.
• Oversee delivery of designs through construction completion.
