Ulteig is seeking a Design Engineer – Battery Energy Storage (BESS) to support utility-scale renewable projects nationwide. This role contributes to the Renewables Lifeline Sector and leads design packages including BESS layouts and electrical one-lines.

Responsibilities include client interaction, multi-discipline design teams of 2-4, and development of early-stage conceptual designs. CAD familiarity is a plus; travel up to 15% may be required.

Competenze

• Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in power systems, with detailed design of Renewable BESS strongly preferred.
• Experience with CYMCAP preferred.
• Experience with ETAP and/or EasyPower preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex information clearly.

Mansioni

• Develop renewable project design/construction packages including BESS layouts and electrical single-lines for utility-scale systems (50-500MW+).
• Interact directly with clients for successful project execution.
• Lead multi-discipline design teams of 2-4 people.
• Support development of early-stage projects with conceptual designs and material take-offs.
• Contribute to internal standards, tools, and processes.
